The Major Cognition
Page 44 in Handbook for Preclears, a diagram.
I live my life in the emotional land between the land between the glandular switchboard and the motor switchboard. I deny that there is an “I”, a control center, and I assert that I am an emotional being.
By default, this makes me a reaction machine (an actor), and I am therefore never at cause except in so far as to sweeten or otherwise manipulate my emotional existence. This is my actors training, but its closest manifestation in my real life is to survive and manipulate the social world via my service facsimiles.
Rarely do I do it like in the diagram, where I use thought impulses to motivate my glandular activity which in turn relates to my motor switchboard via emotion, thereby causing causative action in the physical universe. That’s so direct! I generally take up more abberated route.
Perhaps this is the real beginning of the blog.
